How did you spend your New Years? I celebrated the new calendar year in what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse in an alley in Chicago that had one working bathroom for 300 people and then ended the night by getting into an unmarked, black SUV that offered to give my friend and I a ride home for free when we could not hail a cab.
